Georgios Effraimidis

Georgios Effraimidis is an economist who uses his extensive experience in matters related to intellectual property, SEP/FRAND litigation, antitrust, and the global technology space to provide clients with rigorous, trusted advice and analysis.

Prior to joining NERA, Dr. Effraimidis held a senior management position at Qualcomm, where he specialized in 5G, wireless technologies, Internet of Things, IP, SEP/FRAND, antitrust policy, and the semiconductor market. He also held academic positions at the University of Southern California and the University of Southern Denmark, during which his research related to social networks, causal inference, and survival analysis was financed by a competitive Marie Curie research grant.
