Julie M. Carey

Julie Carey is a Senior Managing Director at NERA Economic Consulting, where expertise in energy economics is applied to provide expert evidence in commercial and regulatory disputes and international arbitrations. With decades of experience across various sectors including oil, gas, LNG, power, and transportation, Julie has established a strong foundation in the energy industry. In addition to consulting, Julie serves as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University, teaching energy economics in graduate programs. Previous roles include Director at Navigant, where extensive work on market analyses and economic damages was conducted, as well as positions at LECG and FTI Consulting. Julie holds an M.A. in Economics from Penn State University and a B.A. in Economics from Allegheny College.
