Stephanie Child

Stephanie Child, PhD, currently serves as a Committee Member for The Trademark Reporter at the International Trademark Association (INTA) since January 2024. From June 2020, Stephanie has been a Director and Senior Consultant at NERA Economic Consulting, specializing in intellectual property with a focus on survey development and analysis related to trademarks, patents, and false advertising. Previous experience includes roles as an Assistant Professor at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and an NIH Research Fellow at UC Berkeley, where research centered on social networks and cardiovascular health. Additional positions include contracted researcher roles at Facebook Inc. and comprehensive research positions at UC Berkeley, the University of South Carolina, and the Chicano Federation of San Diego County. Stephanie holds a PhD in Public Health from the University of South Carolina, a Master of Public Health from San Diego State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from UC San Diego, complemented by postdoctoral studies at UC Berkeley.
