Jo Allatt Cenv

Jo Allatt CEnv is currently the UKRI Senior Environmental Sustainability Programme Manager at NERC, where responsibilities include leading the delivery of the UKRI environmental sustainability strategy. Previous roles include Higher Education Policy Advisor at Research England and Knowledge Exchange Policy Advisor at HEFCE, focusing on knowledge exchange policy and associated funding programs. Earlier experience encompasses community planning and energy efficiency roles at Adur District and Worthing Borough Councils and Arun District Council, respectively, as well as managing a project promoting upcycled products. Jo Allatt holds an MSc in Advanced Environment & Energy Studies from the Centre for Alternative Technologies and a BA in Geography from the University of Edinburgh.
