Aaron Talasnik

Aaron Talasnik has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Aaron currently holds the position of Director, Media at Nerd Street since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant - Content Strategy at Nerd Street from January 2020 to March 2021.

In addition to their roles at Nerd Street, Aaron has also been an Adjunct Professor at Quinnipiac University since May 2021, where they teach Esports Management & Industry Trends. Aaron has also served as an Adjunct Professor at Temple University since January 2021, teaching various topics related to the esports industry.

Before joining Nerd Street and pursuing a career in academia, Aaron gained valuable experience working for major sports organizations. Aaron was the Senior Producer of Content at the Philadelphia 76ers from June 2018 to July 2019, where they played a key role in developing and executing creative digital content. Prior to that, they worked as the Senior Coordinating Producer - Digital Media at NBC Sports Philadelphia from February 2016 to June 2018, where they led the digital video team and played a vital role in the creation of various shows and events.

Aaron's media career began at ESPN, where they held several positions as a Production Assistant from 2000 to 2006. Aaron then moved on to become a Technical Producer at ESPN Digital Media and later Mobile ESPN, where they produced and coordinated live streaming remote events and oversaw NFL video content.

Aaron Talasnik attended Salisbury University from 1996 to 2000, where they received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication and Media Studies. Aaron later pursued further education at Quinnipiac University from 2006 to 2009, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Interactive Communications.
