James Rocker

James Rocker has extensive experience in the field of technology. James began their career in 2000 as a Desktop Support Tech for Accountants World formally MicroVision. In 2001, they took on the role of Sr Field Technician for Lloyd Staffing/USPS, and also began working as a Security Consultant for Secure Enterprise Solutions. In 2003, they became a Sr Network Engineer for CSDNet, and in 2005 they took on the role of CEO for Nerds That Care, as well as Sr Network Engineer for CORE BTS. In their role as Security Consultant, they conducted Penetration Testing, Risk Assessments, and Security Architecture Reviews for clients, and assisted with Computer Forensics Investigations for customers from both the government and private sector. James was also part of an Incident Response Team to help clean up breaches, virus outbreaks, and other types of security threats. As Desktop Support Tech, they supported a home grown accountants application, handled inbound calls, supported remotely, logged calls, and wrote knowledge base articles.

James Rocker attended University of North Carolina at Greensboro from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. James also attended Smithtown High School. Additionally, they are a Microsoft Certified System Engineer.
