Ivan Efremov

Ivan Efremov has an extensive work experience in the field of medicinal chemistry. Ivan currently serves as the VP and Head of Chemistry at Nereid Therapeutics since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Fulcrum Therapeutics from 2017 to 2022, where they held various roles including VP and Head of Medicinal Chemistry, Senior Director and Head of Medicinal Chemistry, Director of Chemistry, and Associate Director of Chemistry. Before joining Fulcrum Therapeutics, Ivan worked at Pfizer for over 15 years, starting in 2001. During their tenure at Pfizer, they held positions such as Senior Principal Scientist, Principal Scientist, Senior Research Scientist, and Research Scientist. Ivan'sexpertise in medicinal chemistry and their progressive responsibilities throughout their career demonstrate their strong background in the field.

Ivan Efremov pursued their higher education at The Ohio State University from 1996 to 2001. During this time, they obtained a Ph.D. degree in Synthetic Organic Chemistry.
