Marc DePaul has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of pharmaceuticals, neuroscience, and technology. Marc has held various roles, including Director of Research & NVG-291 Project Leader at NervGen Pharma Corp., where they developed and managed drug discovery and clinical programs. Marc also worked as a Scientist at Neurona Therapeutics and served as a Scientific Consultant at OHSU | Oregon Health & Science University, where they provided advisory support for the development of spinal cord injury treatments. Additionally, Marc worked as a Postdoctoral Scholar at Case Western Reserve University and collaborated with Athersys on preclinical development of cellular therapy for spinal cord injuries. Marc has also conducted neurophysiological research at Kent State University and gained technical expertise as a Computer Technician at EMC Computers.

Marc DePaul earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biotechnology from Kent State University, studying from 2001 to 2007. Later, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Neuroscience from Case Western Reserve University, completing their studies from 2009 to 2015.
