Jon Sverre Brathen is an experienced leader in public administration and criminal justice, currently serving as Rådmann at Nes kommune since October 2018. Previously held the position of Regiondirektør at Kriminalomsorgen from March 2013 to September 2018, overseeing prisons and probation offices in multiple counties. Brathen has also contributed as Styreleder at Øvre Romerike brann og redning IKS, and as a board member at Digitale Gardermoen IKS. Earlier roles include Rådmann at Nannestad kommune and various advisory positions within the Justisdepartementet and Ullersmo landsfengsel. Brathen holds a Cand Jur degree from the University of Oslo and completed the Solstrandprogrammet in 2018.
