Alfred Joensen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software architecture, development, and leadership. As the Founder and CEO of NES TECH A/S since 2007, Alfred has demonstrated a commitment to innovation in the tech sector. Previously, Alfred held a similar role at itenxion from 2000 to 2007, overseeing functional specifications, system architecture, and software implementation. Alfred's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Mathematical Modelling and an MSc in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark. Research experience includes a Ph.D. and post-doctoral work at Risø National Laboratory for Sustainable Energy, focusing on software and mathematical models for the renewable industry, and a role as a Senior Research Associate at Texas Tech.
