Lilly Hubschman-Shahar has a long and varied work experience in the nursing and healthcare field. Lilly began their career in 2008 as an Infant Aide and Adoption Services Intern at The Cradle, where they identified gaps in client needs, developed and conducted surveys, and provided suggestions for improved practices. In 2010, they became a Clinical Nurse at The Mount Sinai Hospital. In 2013, they became a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner at Lenox Hill Hospital. In 2018, they took on the same role at MEDNAX, Health Solutions Partner. In 2019, they became a Lactation Consultant at Maven Clinic. In 2020, they were a Faculty Associate and Grader at Arizona State University - Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation. In 2021, they were a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner- temporary contract at Phoenix Children's Hospital, VP of Clinical Services and Director of Clinical Informatics and Outcomes at Nest Collaborative, and a Healthcare Innovation Consultant.

Lilly Hubschman-Shahar has a comprehensive education history. Lilly began their educational journey in 2005 when they attended Northwestern University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Policy and Spanish. In 2009, they graduated from Columbia University School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Lilly then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Nursing from Columbia University School of Nursing in 2011, specializing in Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. In 2015, they obtained certification as a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist from Lactation Education Resources. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications such as Perinatal Mental Health Training for Frontline Providers from Postpartum Support International, Foundations in Design Thinking from IDEO U, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant from International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - Board Certified from The National Certification Corporation, Neonatal Resuscitation Program from the American Academy of Pediatrics, and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) from the American Heart Association. Lilly is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Arizona State University, specializing in Health Innovation and Leadership.
