Karmel Edmonds

Karmel Edmonds is an experienced program manager currently overseeing the Rapid Recovery Challenge at Nesta Challenges since June 2020. Previously, Karmel held various roles within Nesta, including programme manager for both the Rapid Recovery Challenge and the Future News Fund, as well as a development and communications manager focused on national campaigns for Rocket. Fund. Additional experience includes serving as the enrichment and community lead at Tidemill Academy, managing extracurricular activities and community engagement, and working as communications and community engagement manager at Aston-Mansfield. Karmel’s background also encompasses roles in festival production and digital strategy within creative arts organizations. Karmel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Theatre Studies from The University of Manchester.
