Suraj V.

Suraj V. has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations in the social technology and design sectors. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Design at Nesta, a role they have held since May 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Trustee for Shift Design - people-led social change starting in July 2023. Suraj also worked as a Non Executive Director at Data Orchard from November 2020 onwards. Furthermore, they have a significant tenure at CAST Centre for the Acceleration of Social Technology, where they held the positions of Head of Product from January 2019 to May 2021 and Design, Development & Product from December 2015 to December 2018. Suraj also ventured as a Founder & Creator at Beehive Giving, a web-based service they established in June 2014 and managed until September 2020. Additionally, they worked at The Foundation People as Head of Digital from April 2014 to December 2015 and as a Trustee from November 2011 to March 2014. Suraj'searlier role as the Head of Curriculum at Changemakers lasted from May 2009 to April 2014.

Suraj V. pursued a BA (Hons) degree in Digital Animation at the University of Hertfordshire from 2005 to 2008. During this time, they focused on animation, interactive technology, video graphics, and special effects. In 2011, Suraj attended the Institute of Leadership and Management for a brief period, completing a Level 3 Certificate in Professional Workplace Coaching.
