Chelsea Omel

Chelsea Omel is the Director of Strategic Design at BenchSci. Prior to their current role, they served as an Innovation Designer at The Moment, where they led process design and delivery of service design, innovation design, and strategy engagements for clients in financial services, insurance, and energy.

internally, Chelsea also acted as Strategic Design Lead & Business Designer - leading the development of the Moment's corporate strategy and business design, as well as new service offerings. Prior to their role at The Moment, Chelsea served as Senior Manager of Customer Innovation at Grant Thornton LLP and Senior Service Design Manager at TELUS Communications.

Chelsea Omel has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, a Bachelor of Arts, Hons. in Art Theirtory from Carleton University, and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from IE Business School. Chelsea also has a Contemporary Dance certification from Interlochen Arts Camp and a Studio Art certification from Principia College. Additionally, they have two certifications from Ally.io, a Microsoft Company: OKR Foundations and OKR Leadership.

They work with Bryn Knox - VP, Finance, Simon Smith - Chief Marketing Officer, and Eran Ben-Ari - Chief Platform Officer. Their manager is Liran Belenzon, Co-Founder & CEO.
