Jesse Vilja

Jesse Vilja has a strong background in chemistry and engineering, holding a Master of Science (Tech.) in Chemistry from Tampere University of Technology. Currently serving as an Associate in Aviation Fuels at Neste since February 2018, Jesse focuses on research and development of aviation fuels, particularly Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel. Prior experience includes a role as a Service Engineer at CHIMEC, where expertise was offered to Neste Oyj in the areas of chemicals for performance enhancement and process optimization. A brief tenure as a Thesis worker at Kemira involved developing laboratory testing methods for reverse osmosis processes. Additional education includes training as a subject teacher in Chemistry and Physics at the University of Tampere and a science-focused matriculation examination from Turun suomalaisen yhteiskoulun lukio.
