Paula Akkanen

Paula Akkanen is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in business finance, financial reporting, and analytics. Currently serving as the Head of Business Finance, FP&A for Oil Products at Neste since January 2021, Paula leads a team responsible for providing business insights and financial analysis. Prior to this role, Paula held positions such as Group Controller at Neste, overseeing financial reporting processes, and Financial Controller for Aalto University Executive Education Ltd in the Asia Pacific region. With a background that includes significant roles at IBM and Accenture, Paula has demonstrated expertise in financial consolidation and project management, complemented by an academic foundation in Management Accounting from the University of Vaasa and further studies at the University of Eastern Finland.
