Salla Likander

Salla Likander is a professional in the field of industrial chemistry, currently serving as R&D Manager for Piloting & Refining at Neste since October 2023. Likander's prior experience at Neste includes roles as Project Manager and Researcher from April 2017 to 2023. At Aalto University School of Science and Technology, a postgraduate student from September 2013 to March 2017 focused on innovative catalysts pertaining to furfural reactions, culminating in a PhD defense in 2019. Likander also completed a Master's thesis on carbon catalysts and served as a summer trainee at Neste Oil in 2013. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Science degree in Industrial Chemistry / Catalysis, and both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, all obtained from Aalto University between 2008 and 2019.
