Teppo Luoto

Teppo Luoto has an extensive career in the oil refining industry, currently serving as Quality Manager at Neste since November 2003, with plans to transition to the Safety and Risk Management Department in May 2025, marking 35 years in the field. Luoto has held various crucial roles, including Development Manager for Quality Assurance in the Asset Management department and key positions during significant turnaround projects at both Naantali and Porvoo refineries. Prior experience includes a role as Risk Manager for Operational Risks at Neste Oil Corporation and Manager of ICT at both Neste and Fortum Oil and Gas Corporation, where responsibilities spanned risk management, ICT process management, and ERP system implementation. Luoto holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Oulu, earned between 1986 and 1991.
