Waqar Ahmed has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Waqar currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Nester, a role they assumed in March 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Business Operations at Nester from February 2021 to March 2022.
Before joining Nester, Waqar worked at QIB (UK) from 2015 to 2020, where they held various roles. Waqar Ahmed completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Interdisciplinary Studies (Major Arabic) from the University of Westminster, from 1993 to 1997. Prior to that, they attended Sir George Monoux VI Form from 1991 to 1993, where they pursued 'A' Levels. Before their time at Sir George Monoux, Waqar studied at Kelmscott School from 1986 to 1991 and completed their GCSE's.
