Youness Abidou

Youness Abidou is the founder and CEO of Nester since January 2019. Prior to that, they worked at ABC International Bank plc from August 2014 to July 2018, where they focused on offering structured debt products supported by UK real estate opportunities in the MENA region. From April 2013 to July 2014, they served as the Vice President of Real Estate Structured Finance at Gatehouse Bank plc. Youness also held the position of VP, Head of Finance at Gatehouse Bank plc from June 2011 to April 2013. From June 2009 to June 2011, they worked as a Director at Business Finance Advisors Limited. Before that, they were a Relationship Manager at Anglo Irish Bank from April 2006 to February 2009 and was responsible for managing a team of 5 and a portfolio of assets worth £1.5bn. Youness started their career as an Assistant Manager at Ernst & Young in October 2000, where they worked until April 2006.

Youness Abidou attended the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Certificate in Qualified Accounting. Following that, they went on to pursue their undergraduate studies at Oxford Brookes University from 2001 to 2005. During this time, they achieved a First Class Honors degree in Applied Accounting.
