Matthieu Stettler

Matthieu Stettler is an experienced professional in pharmaceutical and biotechnology product development, currently serving as the Head of CMC for Global R&D at Nestlé Health Science since October 2023. Prior to this role, Matthieu held the position of Director of R&D for Allogeneic Cell Therapy at Cytiva for nearly a year and led Development Services Ibex at Lonza, focusing on biologics process development and manufacturing from January 2019 to October 2022. A significant portion of Matthieu's career was spent at Merck Group, where responsibilities included Director and Associate Director roles in Biotech Process Sciences, concentrating on late-stage biotech and biosimilar process development. Matthieu's early career included a role as Senior R&D Scientist at Lonza Biologics, emphasizing process development. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from HEC Lausanne, a PhD in Bioengineering from EPFL, and an MSc in Food Science and Technology from ETH Zürich.
