Alex Bernal

Alex Bernal is an experienced data engineering and business intelligence professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Lead Data Engineer at Nestlé Purina North America since February 2015, Alex has also held roles as a Principal Consultant for Local Reporting Systems and an External BI Analyst/Developer. Prior experience includes a position as a Business Intelligence Consultant at Reinsurance Group of America, where Alex developed BI solutions for an automatic underwriting application utilized by over 50 insurance companies globally. Alex’s background also features significant contributions as a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst at TricorBraun, a Project Manager and Technical Lead at Envision, and various roles in market research and analysis at Maritz Research and Research International. Alex holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Business Studies in International Marketing from University College Dublin and a Master's in International Trade from Universidad de Valencia.
