Kimberly May is a seasoned professional in veterinary communications and technical publications, currently serving as a Technical Publications Specialist at Nestlé Purina North America and as a Senior Specialist in Technical Publications at Purina Institute since February 2017. With previous roles, including Director of Communications at the American Veterinary Medical Association from April 2015 to January 2017 and Assistant Director from October 2005 to April 2015, Kimberly has expertise in crisis communications, environmental scanning, and public relations. Earlier experience includes roles as an Associate Veterinarian and board-certified surgeon at Surgi-Care Center for Horses and as a Clinical Instructor at Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Kimberly holds a DVM degree and an MS in Veterinary Sciences from Virginia Tech.
