Achille Thin

Achille Thin serves as the Data Science Manager at Nestlé since March 2025, leading data science initiatives for the Nestlé Zone Europe, particularly in algorithms related to consumer representation learning and lifetime value. Prior to Nestlé, Achille held the position of Lead Data Scientist at Genesis, focusing on the development of soil health indices and leveraging Machine Learning for agroecological practices. Having also served as a Senior Lecturer in Statistics and Artificial Intelligence at AgroParisTech, Achille contributes to agricultural research and education. Achille's academic background includes a Master's degree in Statistical Science from the University of Oxford and extensive experience in statistical modeling, deep learning, and renewable energy systems through various roles in research and education. Achille's career began in the military as a Chief of Brigade and has included research positions at CEA and Airaro, demonstrating a strong foundation in both practical and theoretical aspects of data science and modeling.
