Beate Klein

Beate Klein is a seasoned lawyer specializing in food law, with 17 years of experience in the assessment of food products, multilingual declaration, claim checking, and product registration. Beate started as the Regulatory Affairs Coordinator at PowerBar Europe, where they contributed to the European expansion and built a network of consultants. They later served as the Regulatory Affairs Manager at Active Nutrition International GmbH before taking on the role of Senior Regulatory and Scientific Affairs at Nestlé in 2021. Beate holds a State Exam in Law from the University of Augsburg, supplemented by an Erasmus scholarship in Law from Università degli Studi di Torino and a certificate in Regulatory Affairs for medical products and pharma law.
