Benjamin Ware

Benjamin Ware is the Global Head of Climate & Sustainable Sourcing at Nestlé, where they lead efforts to achieve Net Zero climate goals across a scope of 113 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent. With a robust 20-year background in sustainability, Benjamin has pioneered responsible sourcing strategies and policies that set industry standards, including achieving 99% deforestation-free commitments. Their current initiatives involve overseeing a diverse team to implement innovative solutions for climate change and sustainable sourcing, while also pursuing their education in Agricultural Economics at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Previously, they held various leadership positions within Nestlé, focusing on supplier assessment and development.
