Chris Zelch has a robust background in product development and research, with extensive experience in the food industry. Currently serving as the Global Pizza R&D Director at Nestlé since June 2003, Chris leads a skilled team of engineers focusing on chilled and frozen foods. Previous roles at Nestlé include Engineering Group Manager and Director of New Product Development for brands such as DiGiorno, Tombstone, and California Pizza Kitchen. Prior to Nestlé, Chris worked at Interstate Brands Corporation as a Bakery Technologist, where responsibilities included product development from concept to industrialization. Chris also gained experience at Country Home Bakers and Pepperidge Farm in product development roles. An alumnus of Kansas State University, Chris completed studies there from 1992 to 1997.
