Gbenga Oyebode

Gbenga Oyebode is an accomplished legal professional and business leader with extensive experience in governance and philanthropy. Currently serving as Chairman and Director at Lafarge Africa Plc and Nestlé, Oyebode is also the Chairman of the African Philanthropy Forum and Teach For All, and holds several significant positions including Of Counsel at Aluko & Oyebode and member of the Board of Trustees for both The Africa Center and the Ford Foundation. With a legal education that includes a Master of Law from the University of Pennsylvania and honorary Doctor of Law degrees from Ekiti State University and Elizade University, Oyebode is admitted to practice law in New York and Nigeria. The experience spans decades, including a longstanding role as Chairman of Okomu Oil Palm PLC since 1994, underscoring a commitment to leadership and social impact.
