Joydeep Ray, PhD, is currently the Head of Innovation Acceleration at Nestlé R&D South Asia. They have previously worked as a Lipid Specialist, Lipid Scientist, and Senior Lipid Specialist at Nestlé Research in Switzerland from 2017 to 2019. Joydeep was a Sponsored PhD student at Loders Croklaan, where they focused on the production and characterization of cocoa butter equivalents, and also served as a Research Associate at Loughborough University. They hold a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Loughborough University and an MSc in Applied Biomolecular Technology from the University of Nottingham.
