Markus Mende is currently the Head of Group Risk Services at Nestlé and has extensive experience in risk consulting and management. Previously, they served as Chairman of the Board at Aon Schweiz AG and held various leadership roles at Aon Risk Solutions, including Group Managing Director for Risk Consulting EMEA. Markus was also a Member of the Board of Directors at Toa Re Europe from 2016 to 2020. They hold a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from the Technical University Dresden, along with degrees from the University of Oxford, Università degli Studi di Siena, and the London School of Economics and Political Science.
