Francois Duquette's work experience begins in 2004 as a Linux Software Developer at Motorola Solutions. In 2005, they worked as a Java Software Developer at Ericsson. From 2006 to 2013, Francois worked at CGI, where they held various roles including Engineering Manager, Technical Lead Software Developer, and Java Software Developer for clients such as Rogers Communications, Bell Canada, and National Bank of Canada. In 2014, they joined AppDirect as a Senior Software Developer, where they worked on integration, authentication, and billing features. Over the years, Francois grew within the company, eventually becoming the Global Director of Technical Solutions Architecture in 2022. During their time at AppDirect, they also designed a notification system and guided technical workshops worldwide. In 2022, Francois started working as a Software Entrepreneur and Experienced Software Developer at Software Engineering Applications, where they focused on building a data pipeline/ETL SaaS cloud app and a social/meetup mobile app for iOS and Android. In 2023, Francois joined nesto as a Senior Staff Software Developer.

Francois Duquette obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Computer Software Engineering from UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal. Francois completed this degree from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they attended Collège Ahuntsic from 1999 to 2002, where they completed a DCS (Diploma of College Studies, Pre-university program) in Pure and Applied Sciences. In 2012, Francois underwent professional training at Concordia University, focusing on Management priorities for effective leadership.
