Chad Geidel

Chad Geidel has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Chad is currently employed as a Tech Lead for Software Engineering at Net Health since 2022. Previously, they worked as a Digital Service Expert at Colorado Digital Service from 2020 to 2022, where they served as the technical lead for the State of Colorado's Comprehensive Child Welfare system. Chad was also a Software Engineer IV at the Colorado Department of Human Services in 2020, where they led the development of the CCWIS website and mentored junior developers.

Prior to that, Chad was a Software Development Manager at HomeAdvisor in 2019, where they owned and enhanced the sales component of the CRM system, and grew a 5-person team. Chad also worked as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Charles Schwab from 2017 to 2019, leading teams in fund accounting and security valuation projects.

Chad's earlier experience includes working as a Technical Lead at IHS Markit in 2016, leading a remote developer team, and as a Tech Lead at Food Service Warehouse from 2014 to 2016, where they implemented an invoicing system and upgraded an Excel-based credit management system.

Chad also worked as a Senior Technical Consultant at Aprimo from 2012 to 2014, customizing marketing software for large companies, and as a Software Engineer at Barclaycard from 2008 to 2011, extending and maintaining desktop software for credit card marketing. Chad's career started as a Software Programmer at Innovative Systems LLC from 2004 to 2008, where they developed conversion software and implemented a web-based telecom billing system.

Throughout their career, Chad has demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring skills, and expertise in software development and system enhancements across various industries and projects.

Chad Geidel earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from South Dakota Mines. Chad attended the university from 1998 to 2002.
