Software Engineer III at Net Health

Dan Lamoureaux started their work experience as a MBU Testing Co-op at ANSYS, Inc. in May 2007 and stayed there until March 2010. Dan then became a Testing Engineer I at ANSYS, Inc. from March 2010 to January 2013.

After that, they joined Net Health in January 2013 as a Software Engineer and held this position until March 2015. Dan was promoted to Software Engineer II in March 2015 and worked in this role until July 2017. Finally, they became a Software Engineer III at Net Health in July 2017 and is currently in this position.

During their time at Net Health, Dan's responsibilities included designing and developing new modules and features for Electronic Health Record products using a mix of ASP.NET Web Forms, MVC, Knockout, Vue.js, and jQuery. Dan also integrated with APIs from durable medical equipment vendors, government entities, and other third parties, wrote and maintained unit tests, created and optimized SQL stored procedures and tables, and analyzed performance metrics to improve website speed and responsiveness. Dan constructed build configurations and pipelines in both TeamCity and Azure DevOps, reviewed and updated other developers' work, collaborated with Agile Scrum teams and stakeholders to plan and estimate new projects, and mentored and trained new developers. Additionally, they built a new patient portal website using ASP.NET.

Dan Lamoureaux attended the University of Pittsburgh from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering.
