Christos Athanasiadis has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

Christos started their professional career in 2019 at NET2GRID, where they worked as a Machine Learning Intern for three months. Christos then progressed to become a Machine Learning Engineer for two and a half years, followed by a promotion to the role of Lead R&D Engineer for one year. Currently, they hold the position of Product Innovation Manager at the company.

In 2020, Christos joined the Democritus University of Thrace as a Teaching Assistant. Christos has been contributing to the educational efforts in an ongoing capacity.

Furthermore, in 2021, they became a Researcher at the ACTIVATE Research Project, where they have been involved in research activities for a period of eight months.

Christos Athanasiadis completed their Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) in the years 2014-2019. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Democritus University of Thrace (D.U.Th.) from 2020 to 2024. Additionally, they have obtained multiple certifications in various subjects, including storytelling and persuading using data and digital technologies, machine learning data lifecycle in production, introduction to machine learning in production, AWS cloud practitioner essentials, project management, product management fundamentals, AI for medical treatment, AI for medical diagnosis, AI for medical prognosis, AI for medicine specialization, AWS machine learning foundations, automating real-world tasks with Python, Google IT automation with Python specialization, machine learning with Python, configuration management and the cloud, deep learning specialization, DeepLearning.AI TensorFlow developer specialization, introduction to Git and GitHub, natural language processing in TensorFlow, and sequence models. The certifications were obtained from reputable institutions such as edX, Coursera, and Udacity between the years 2020 and 2022.
