Dimitris Kavelidis Frantzis

Dimitris Kavelidis Frantzis has a diverse work experience in various fields. Dimitris started their career in 2016 as a Youth Leadership Trainer at YMCA Thessaloniki and later became the Child Welfare Manager and Head of Watersports. In 2017, they also worked as a Surf Camp Activity Leader at Surf Club Keros.

In 2017, Dimitris began working as a Ski Instructor and Activity Leader at Irbis Outdoor Activities.

From 2021, they joined Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) as a Research Scholar, where they conducted research work with the ISSEL team. Their responsibilities included creating interview protocols, data collection and cleaning, feature engineering, and developing and deploying Machine Learning models for diagnostic predictions. Dimitris achieved significant accomplishments such as developing a new dementia detection screening test and expanding the number of classes used in previous studies.

In 2023, Dimitris will join NET2GRID as a Backend Engineer.

Dimitris Kavelidis Frantzis completed their education in a chronological manner. From 2017 to 2022, they attended Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) where they pursued a Diploma/MEng in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
