Michail Martinis

Michail Martinis has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Michail started their career in 2020 as a Summer Intern at Prisma Electronics, where they gained experience in a production line and familiarized himself with the ZigBee Protocol and IoT infrastructure. Michail also assisted in creating an instruction manual for end-users.

In 2021, Michail worked as an Erasmus Trainee at INESC-ID. During this time, they conducted research on Routing in Delay Tolerant Networking and familiarized himself with the Opportunistic Network Environment (ONE) simulator.

From 2022 to 2023, Michail served mandatory military service in the Greek Army, working as a Research and Informatics Private. Michail was responsible for assisting in system network administration, management, and maintenance of Local Area Networks.

Currently, Michail is a Software Engineer in Operations at NET2GRID, a position they have held since April 2023.

Michail Martinis completed their education from 2016 to 2022 at the Democritus University of Thrace (D.U.Th.), where they earned a Diploma of Engineering (Integrated Master) in Electrical and Computer Engineering. In 2019, they also participated in an Erasmus program at AGH University of Science and Technology, focusing on Computer Science, Electronics, and Telecommunications. In the same year, they attended a summer school program at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics.

Apart from their formal education, Michail has obtained additional certifications. In May 2023, they completed the ReGeneration Academy on CyberSecurity & DevOps Engineering, powered by Microsoft, through Code.Hub. Michail also holds the certifications of Docker Mastery: with Kubernetes +Swarm from a Docker Captain, obtained from Udemy in November 2022, and The Complete Python Bootcamp From Zero to Hero in Python, also from Udemy in the same month and year. Additionally, they have achieved the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in August 2022 and the AWS Fundamentals Specialization from Coursera in March 2022. Lastly, they obtained an IELTS Academic (Band Score 8.0) certification from IELTS Official in May 2022.
