Katy Rankin

Katy Rankin is a Cybersecurity Counsel at NetApp, where they leverage a strong background in cybersecurity and privacy law. Previously, they served as Cybersecurity & Technology Governance Counsel at Western Union and held multiple legal positions, including Associate Attorney and Summer Associate at Hogan Lovells. Katy began their career with roles in technical writing and network engineering at Global Technology Resources, Inc., and also gained valuable experience during their internship with the First Judicial District Attorney's Office. In addition to their professional responsibilities, they are currently an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Denver, teaching Privacy Law.
