Jason Welch

Jason Welch is an accomplished legal professional specializing in privacy, cybersecurity, and consumer litigation. Currently serving as Senior Counsel for Privacy & Cybersecurity at Hyundai Motor America since April 2014, Jason advises various departments on data privacy and security risks. Previously, as Senior Counsel for Dispute Resolution, Jason successfully developed a consumer law claim department that significantly reduced defense costs. Jason's experience includes serving as national consumer litigation counsel at Hyundai and representing clients at notable law firms such as Beatty & Myers, O'Hagan Spencer, Bowman and Brooke, and Beam, Brobeck, West, Borges & Rosa. Jason holds a J.D. from Whittier Law School and a B.A. in History from North Carolina State University.
