Shuming Chen

Shuming Chen is a Data Scientist at NetApp since September 2022, with prior experience as a Data Analyst at Brierley from September 2021 to August 2022. Shuming also completed a capstone project at Walmart in 2020, worked as a Summer Analyst at First Trust, and was a Mentor in the Economics Peer Mentor Program at The University of Texas at Austin. Additional roles include tutoring at HeyTutor, undertaking an Accounting Internship at Holiday Inn Express, conducting research for Innovation for Peace and Development, and serving as a Student Security Coordinator for The University of Texas at Austin Housing and Dining. Shuming holds a Master's degree in Business Analytics from Texas McCombs School of Business and dual Bachelor's degrees in Economics and Japanese Language and Literature from The University of Texas at Austin, along with a Business Economics Option Program background in Accounting and Finance.
