Panickos Neophytou has a wealth of experience in the IT field, starting with an IT Intern position at Unicom Management Services (Cyprus) Ltd. in 2000. In 2003, they took on a Special Scientist role at the University of Cyprus, where they developed a framework for deploying parallel applications using a Web-services infrastructure. In 2004, they became a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Pittsburgh, where they defined a new workflow execution model and implemented it on top of Kepler. Finally, in 2013, they co-founded and became CTO of NetBeez, where they designed the system architecture and applied agile product management techniques to implement the system with a team of software engineers and designers.
Panickos Neophytou received a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Panepistimio Kyprou between 1999 and 2003. Panickos then went on to pursue a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh, which they completed in 2012. Panickos also attended Y Combinator, though no degree or field of study is listed.
