Basile Goussard is a co-founder of netcarbon, which focuses on monitoring global vegetation to enhance carbon capture through the integration of satellite data and artificial intelligence. With a strong commitment to addressing climate change, Basile serves as an associate at Time for the Planet, while previously holding the position of Head of Earth Intelligence at PROMÉTHÉE NewSpace, where Basile developed services for carbon emission measurement and disease outbreak prediction. Prior roles include geospatial data scientist positions at various organizations, utilizing Earth Observation data to aid climate initiatives, as well as project management and data analysis roles at Airbus and ArianeGroup. Basile holds an Advanced Master’s degree in Space Applications and Services from ISAE-SUPAERO and a Master of Engineering in Performance and Risk Management from IMT Atlantique.
