Markus Jessl's work experience includes:

- Senior Software Delivery Engineer at Netcetera - Software matters since June 2022. Markus is responsible for product integration, APAC customer onboarding, and delivering services for the Acquiring customer network.

- Company owner at Asin & Jessl Sdn. Bhd. from May 2018 to June 2022. Markus supported their wife in growing their family business and worked on small private IoT projects, focusing on Azure Cloud, .Net Core, and Xamarin.

- CTO of CheapCatcher, a mobile app startup in the retailer business, from May 2018 to June 2022. Markus was responsible for technology decisions, data model architecture, security architecture, Azure Cloud architecture, and mobile app architecture. Markus utilized technologies such as .Net Core 3.

- Storage Engineer, Senior Engineer, and Senior Project Manager at Hitachi Solutions Asia Pacific from September 2014 to April 2018.

- Senior Software Development Engineer, Senior Subject Matter Expert, and Middleware Consultant at HP from June 2006 to October 2013. Markus worked on various projects involving IT asset management, Oracle EBS/OBIEE maintenance support, and implementation of Oracle Fusion Middleware, SOA, and EBS product stack.

Markus developed and migrated GM global projects, led a team of offshore resources, and worked on website development using various technologies such as Java, Oracle database, and HTML.

Markus Jessl's education history begins with their high-school diploma, known as an Abitur, which they obtained from Staatliches Gymnasium Bad Liebenstein. During this period, from 1983 to 1995, their field of study focused on Mathematics and Physics. Following this, from 1996 to 1999, Markus attended IHK Darmstadt, where they pursued a Management Assistant in Data Processing certificate from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

In addition to their formal education, Markus Jessl has also obtained two additional certifications. In July 2007, they received the Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from TÜV SüD, which was based on the ITIL® Version 2 framework. Prior to that, in April 2006, Markus became a Sun Certified Programmer through Sun Microsystems.
