Kelsey Gowan

Kelsey Gowan has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Starting in 2013, they worked as a Direct Support Professional at Arc Of The Ozarks, where they provided support to individuals with disabilities. In 2014, they joined the St. Mary Parish E9-1-1 Communications District, initially working as a 9-1-1 Operator/Dispatcher and later transitioning to the role of Database Manager/Emergency Dispatcher. Kelsey held these positions until July 2022. Currently, they are working at Netchex as an Implementation Project Lead, a position they started in July 2022.

Kelsey Gowan pursued their education from 2017 to 2020 at the American Public University System. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Human Resources Management and Services. Additionally, they also earned a Diploma of Education with a focus on Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from the same institution.

In terms of certifications, Kelsey acquired the Certified Training Operator certification from APCO International in June 2020. In May 2016, they obtained the IS-360 certification from FEMA. Furthermore, they received the Public Safety Telecommunicator 1 certification from APCO International in September 2020, and the Fire Service Communications certification from the same institution in July 2020.
