Yen C. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. They co-founded Netcom Africa in 2004 and currently hold the role of Group Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at the company. Yen C. is also a Board Member at Onix Data Centres Ltd, a company that owns and operates data centres in West Africa. Additionally, they have served as a Senior Advisor at African Infrastructure Investment Managers (AIIM), a company that manages private equity infrastructure funds in Africa. Yen C. has also held positions as a Board Member at ChipLab, a Strategic Advisor at Shuttle Technologies, and a Strategic Advisor at SpaceFab.US. They have further contributed as the Chairman of Technical Committee at the Internet Exchange Point of Nigeria and as a Partner at TEN Africa, a production and distribution company. Yen C.'s work experience also includes being a Member of the Board at Fibersat, a company launching a geostationary satellite over Africa, and Chairman of the Board at Ignitia AB, which provides hyper-local weather updates to farmers.

Yen C. has a background in Bio Resource Engineering from The University of British Columbia. They also obtained an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Liverpool. In addition, Yen has certifications including being in the top 2% of Mensa High IQ, AGI STK Level 1 certification, and Pistol Instructor certification from NRA Certified Instructor.
