Robert Hallinan started their work experience in 2007 as an Electrical Systems Intern at Exelon Nuclear. In 2008, they worked as a Hardware Intern at L-3 Communications. From 2009 to 2019, they worked at Northrop Grumman as a Systems Engineer, where they were responsible for configuring networks and integrating complex C2 and C4ISR systems. In 2006, they also worked as a Resident Assistant at Bucknell University. Currently, since 2019, they are working at NetCraftsmen as a Senior Engineer I.

Robert Hallinan completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Management for Engineers at Bucknell University from 2005 to 2009. Robert also obtained a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a concentration in Telecommunications and Networking from The Johns Hopkins University between 2010 and 2013. Additionally, Robert has acquired several certifications including Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA), Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Cisco Certified Network Associate Collaboration (CCNA-C), Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching), Cisco Certified Network Professional Collaboration (CCNP), Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing and Switching (CCNP Routing and Switching), Cisco Video Network Specialist, and CompTIA Security+ ce.
