David McMaster

David McMaster has a diverse work experience. David started their career in 2003 as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Craftsman in the US Air Force Reserve, where they performed, supervised, and managed EOD operations. David also held various leadership positions during their time in the Air Force. In 2011, they worked as a Research Assistant at The University of Texas at San Antonio, conducting research on Pt-Pd-Amorphous Carbon Nanoparticles. David published collaborative work during this time. From 2013 to 2014, they also worked as a Teaching Assistant, teaching Physics Labs and managing student activities. In 2015, they joined Rackspace as a Linux System Administrator and later became an Enterprise Linux Systems Administrator. Since 2017, David has been working at NetDocuments, starting as an Automation Engineer and eventually taking on the roles of DevOps Manager and Principal DevOps Engineer. Overall, their work experience spans a range of technical and leadership roles in various industries.

Additionally, they obtained certifications in various fields, including Certified Openstack Administrator (COA) from The Linux Foundation in 2017, RHCSA from Red Hat in 2014, CloudU Certification from Cloud University in 2014, and CompTIA Network+ ce from CompTIA in 2014. In 2014, David also attended the Open Cloud Academy, although no degree or field of study is specified for this period.
