Emily J. Nelson

Emily J. Nelson has a diverse work experience in event management and development roles. Emily J. currently works as a Project Manager at NetElixir. Prior to this, Emily worked at the Museum of Science as an Associate Director, Donor Events, where they managed over 50 annual events and provided supervision to staff members. Emily J. also worked at the American Cancer Society, where they held various roles including Senior Community Development Manager, Development Manager, Distinguished Events, and Special Events Coordinator. During their time at the American Cancer Society, they successfully raised significant funds through donor cultivation and managed event portfolios. Additionally, Emily gained experience as a Development Events and Operations Intern at The Franklin Institute, where they assisted in coordinating event logistics, and as a Marketing and Events Intern at Events Plus, Inc., where they contributed to event planning, marketing, and management.

Emily J. Nelson graduated from Rowan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Management in 2011, after completing their four-year program from 2007 to 2011.
