Alvin Bao

Alvin Bao is a skilled software engineer and intern with extensive experience in various tech roles. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Intern at Cockroach Labs since September 2022, Alvin has previously contributed to HexLabs, Inc. as a Tech Team Software Engineer, where significant projects included overhauling a hackathon judging tool and implementing a participant interface for prize exchange. As a Student Advisor and Lead for Developer Student Clubs at Georgia Tech, Alvin coordinated numerous educational events, significantly increasing attendance. Additional internship experience includes roles at DoorDash, Redfin, and Pagarba Solutions, focusing on loyalty programs, internal tools, and mobile app development. Alvin holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, with a strong foundation in managing teams and building user-centric software solutions.
