Andrew Ure

Andrew Ure currently serves as Vice President of Global Affairs APAC at Netflix, focusing on public policy and government relations in the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to this role, Andrew held various positions at Google, including Managing Director of Government Affairs and Public Policy for Southeast Asia, where responsibilities included developing AI-ready policies and enhancing digital transformation. Andrew's extensive career also includes leadership roles at the Australian Department of Climate Change, where significant engagement in international negotiations occurred, and as a diplomat in the Australian Embassy in Iran. Andrew holds a BA in Geography from the University of Oxford and a Master of Arts in International Law from The Australian National University.
