Daniel Cai is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Netflix since October 2025, focusing on GenAI for filmmaking. Previously, Daniel served as a Senior Software Engineer at Waymo from August 2020 to October 2025, contributing to the Perception Team. Daniel also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Stanford University in early 2020, teaching courses on probabilistic graphical models and convolutional neural networks.
